

The 2009-10 Norfolk Junior Squash season ended on a high with 54 juniors entering the final Grand Prix event at EAT&SC, Norwich in July. An impressive nine first time entries swelled the entry with all of the newcomers winning matches.
Jordan Creed completed his 100% record in winning five GPs out of five, but was severely challenged by the ever improving Adam Sinkins. Jordan winning 9/11,11/9,11/6,10/12,11/9.
Guests Chris Shaw and Will Collett from Cambridgeshire finished 4 th and 8 th respectively with both being involved in some close and very sporting matches against the Norfolk lads.
Alex Williams 3 rd , Connor Doy 5 th , Jake Bond 6 th and Nathan Taylor 7 th completed the top group.
Ed Curtis ( Suffolk ) showed further improvement from previous GP appearances in winning group 2 from Alex Bensley in another close contest.
Milo Butler justified his no.1 seeding in group 3, but only just survived a teriffic second round match, winning 10/12,11/7,9/11,11/4,13/11 against Robby Coates. Sam Henden did likewise in group 4 with a 11/7,13/11,8/11,12/10 with over Liam Bond.
Debutant Harry Lee impressively won group 5 without dropping a game, as did Olivia Boyce in group 6 and Posie Pooley, also making her debut in group 7.
Grand Prix Ranking winners Jordan Creed and Ailish Reeson, together with Martin Jolly and Charlie Simpson (Gold Participation awards) Alex Williams, Adam Sinkins, Jamie Foyster, Alex Coburn, William Henden, Robby Coates, Sam Henden, Liam Mooney, and Claire Jolly will receive awards at the forthcoming Norfolk County Closed Championships to recognise all their hard work and achievements during the Grand Prix season.
The Grand Prix season will recommence on October 17 at Beccles Leisure Centre and Water Lane , Lowestoft .
