

Fifty players from right across East Anglia took part in the latest Norfolk Junior Squash Grand Prix July event with group winners from Norwich, Comberton in Cambs, Broadland, Fakenham and Harleston.
Group 1 saw a very close final match between Jordan Creed and Elliot Green with Jordan just coming out on top 8-11, 11-8, 11-5, 11-5. Best-ever GP finishes came from Tom Morris in third who fought back from 2-0 down to beat Adam Sinkins 3-2 in fourth place with Connor Doy in fifth, his best-ever placing.

Group 2 was won by Will Collett from Cambridgeshire as he beat Jenny Hodges 12-10, 11-9 in a very close final match.
Group 2 final placings: 1 Will Collett, Comberton; 2 Jenny Hodges, Reepham; 3 Leyton James, Fakenham; 4 Sam Lanham, Fakenham; 5 Will Henden, Broadland; 6 Chris Cook, Broadland; 7 Ed Curtis, Ipswich ; 8 Alex Coburn, Barnham Broom; 9 Joe Weavers, Comberton.
Group 3 went to Jake Bond who defeated Jordan Walker 11-8, 11-6, 11-6 in the final.
Group 3 final placings: 1 Jake Bond, Bannatynes; 2 Jordan Walker, Fakenham; 3 Giles Evans, Barnham Broom; 4 Milo Butler, EAT≻ 5 Drew Butchart, Fakenham; 6 David Gorrod, Bannatynes; 7 Izaak Butler, EAT≻ 8 Brandon Fairbrother, Fakenham.
Group 4 saw the first victory for a junior from Broadlands for some years as Sam Henden beat Sam Crafer 16-14, 11-5.
Group 4 final placings: 1 Sam Henden, Broadland; 2 Sam Crafer, Reepham; 3 Martin Jolly, King's Lynn; 4 Harvey Clarke, King's Lynn; 5 Jackson Yaxley, Fakenham; 6 Liam Bond, Bannatynes; 7 Joseph Pearson, Fakenham; 8 Jagan Crane, Bannatynes.
The Group 5 final was an all-Fakenham affair with Oliver Hall beating Joe Yaxley 11-9, 9-11, 11-4 in a well-matched game.
Group 5 final placings: 1 Oliver Hall, Fakenham; 2 Joe Yaxley, Fakenham; 3 Kieran Dodman, Fakenham; 4 Liam Mooney, EAT≻ 5 Prakrit Raj Kumar, EAT≻ 6 Jessica Arneil, Bannatynes; 7 Rebeca Samuel, Beccles; 8 Sam Rowe, UEA.
Group 6 was won by Sam McCluskey who was too strong for Katie Cox 11-3, 11-5.
Group 6 final placings: 1 Sam McCluskey, Harleston; 2 Katie Cox, EAT≻ 3 Olivia Boyce, Reepham; 4 Charlie Simpson, EAT≻ 5 Claire Jolly, King's Lynn ; 6 James Peterson, EAT≻ 7 Joe Henden, Broadland; 8 Chloe Peterson, EAT&SC.
