Passion and effort at Junior Squash Grand Prix

There was a healthy entry of around 40 for April's Norfolk Junior Squash Grand Prix hosted jointly by Reepham and Fakenham Squash Clubs, despite it falling at the end of the Easter school holidays.

The six groups were spread between Reepham and Fakenham and the standard of squash on display was excellent – across all of the groups – and many participants showed their commitment to play the game with effort and integrity.

Group 6 saw several new entrants to the Grand Prix series, however it was left to stalwarts Sam Lewis and Lydia Brownlow to fight it out for the winner's trophy, Sam just coming out ahead on this occasion.

At the other end of the scale in Group 1, Jack Bell rang the changes with a closely-fought 5 game victory in the final match against previous three times winner Jordan Creed.

The other group winners were: Adam Sinkins (Gp 2), Joe Groom (Gp 3), Jackson Yaxley (Gp 4) and Daniel Fuller (Gp 5).
