Last weekend saw 26 Norfolk junior players take to the courts at Harleston Leisure Centre to compete in the November Junior Grand Prix. Liam Bond took victory in group 1, only dropping one game all day, to Alex Hagag. Alex finished with a final placing of third, due to a tough and tiring match against Jack Pritchard which he lost 2-0. Fantastic effort from all group one players. Group 1 final placings: 1. Liam Bond, 2. Jack Pritchard, 3. Alex Hagag, 4. Kirstie Johnson, 5. Joe Sergent Chris Nixon took a clean sweep in group 2, without dropping a single game. Whilst Rafe, Ryan and Jacob fought in some very tough games. Group 2 final placings: 1. Chris Nixon, 2. Rafe Manning, 3. Ryan Jackson, 4. Jacob Baugh In group 3, Corey Thurston from Harleston, the home club, did not drop a game, winning all his matches 2-0. All games were close and great effort was shown in this group. Group 3 final placings: 1. Corey Thurston, 2. Keira Martin, 3. Bradley Faulkner, 4. Olivia Martin, 5. Charlie McDonald Rossis Leisure's Billy Riches won the top spot in group 4; tightly contested with runner-up James Robinson. Cara Hayes-Bradley from Broadland and Freddie Kirk won groups 5 and 6 respectively. Group 4 final placings: 1. Billy Riches, 2. James Robinson, 3. Tom Daley, 4. Artem Aleksejevs Group 5 final placings: 1. Cara Hayes-Bradley, 2. Luc Davis, 3. Findlay Clarke, 4. Allie Filmer Group 6 final placings: 1. Freddie Kirk, 2. Gabriel Escalera, 3. Chaman Uppal, 4.
